About the Program
Your EMPLOYEES' day could start with icebreaker/acquaintance activities. The goal of these activities is to provide an opportunity for the group to get to know each other better and begin to feel comfortable with one another.
From there your GROUP will move on to de-inhibitizer activities. These activities encourage your group to take risks with and in front of one another. Importance is placed on a cooperative and supportive atmosphere.
Now, your TEAM moves on to trust activities. Trust activities are used to develop a level of physical and emotional safety within the group.
Next are communication activities, which provide an opportunity for the team to develop skills to communicate. The group roles, individual strengths and needs usually evolve from the group through this process.
Before moving on to the personal challenge events, we do group problem solving, which allows the development of effective problem solving skills. The objective is to recognize and utilize the strengths of all the group members to solve problems.
Personal challenge activities can be anything from games, rock climbing to the challenge of our high ropes course. Attempting these activities help the group members share common feelings and reaction to taking risks. By meeting these challenges and helping others to meet these goals, THE TEAM learns how they can work and support each other and take accountability for one another's safety.
At the end of the day, either in small groups or as a whole (depending on time and size of group) we meet for a quick debrief. A debriefing is a good way to reflect on, discuss and learn from the experiences of the day.
Please note that the sequence used in the above programming is based on a group of 15 to 25. If the numbers in your group exceed 25, the schedule of the sequence will differ. Programming is subject to change based on activities selected, and weather.
Program Sessions run from mid-April to early-November. Our spacious meeting room and catering are available upon request.
